Allan Havis

Allan Havis is a Professor of Theatre at University of California, San Diego. His dramas have been produced at major theaters nationally and abroad. He is the author of nineteen full-length published plays and edited three American Political Plays series — the newest “American Political Plays in the Age of Terrorism” with Bloomsbury. “October 7^th” is his third novel with Between the Lines/Willow River Press. “Architects of the Taj Mahal” and “Maddie Q” came out in 2024 and 2023 respectively, having followed his 2022 novel, “Clear Blue Silence” by Ktav Publishing. He also published two novels for young adults — “Albert the Astronomer” by Harper/Collins and “Albert Down a Wormhole” by Goodreads Press.
