President Duck is back—and this time, someone wants to rewrite more than the Constitution.
While touring the country to rally support for a new constitutional convention, Duck is kidnapped in Texas by a gang of anarcho-economists led by the diabolical Heinz Hip-Hop. But Heinz’s ambitions extend far beyond holding a president hostage. He intends to seize control of America and, if everything goes according to plan, the world.
With Duck’s tour bus as their unlikely rescue vehicle, the ghosts of Thomas Jefferson and Alexander Hamilton join Lew, a motley assortment of philosophers, and a band of bikers in a mad dash after the kidnappers.
Meanwhile, another philosopher recruited for Duck’s campaign is abducted in New York. Aided by a few ghosts of his own, Lew’s friend Rick sets out in pursuit and devises a plan to deliver the culprits directly to the NYPD.
Both chases are headed toward Nashville, where a parade is scheduled to launch Duck’s campaign. Unfortunately, Heinz Hip-Hop and his followers intend to make certain the festivities never begin.
Can this unruly alliance of thinkers, spirits, and bikers outwit the conspirators, rescue President Duck, and keep America moving forward?
Blending political satire, American history, philosophical sparring, and cross-country mayhem, Jefferson and Hamilton Try to Rescue the President with Rick and Lew is an irreverent adventure in which saving democracy may require both spirited debate—and actual spirits.
